My name is Ricardo Otero, an audiovisual creator of Colombian origin based in the United States.

Beyond the data and formative experiences, I think it is important to highlight my vision of this artistic and professional field. I perceive the creation of the image as something much more intimate than a mass production process like modernity has converted it to through over saturation throughout the digital environment.

I consider the visual universe an inexhaustible source of the materialization of human feeling, perhaps the most powerful tool next to music and literature. Beyond understanding the commercial nature of this sector, I am convinced that the understanding of the aesthetic and emotional possibilities of photography, can and are, a responsibility in the communicative exercise at the service of the intellect as well as the feeling.

Throughout my professional life I have worked with a strict code of work and personal ethics, which has guided my relationship with my clients and with those companies that have placed their trust in my work and in my vision; honesty and transparency are the basis for building a creative and work process that allows for excellence.
